Soldier Jameson Hunter faces the battle of his life: winning the heart of Charlotte Mackenzie, widowed mother of a young recruit.

Juls Review
Charley is in her mid 30's and is a single mom of a 17 year old boy. He's ready to become a man and be all he can be with the Army but Charley isnt ready to give up her only link to her life with her deceased husband.
To ease her into what is going to be Evan's new life he takes her to the recruiting center for kind of a 101 spiel about what he will be going through.

Jameson Hunter is Evan's recruiting officer and he cant seemed to be smitten by Charley and her over protectiveness to her son. He causally asks her to dinner to settle her nerves about the decision her son has made.

What might have been a future for Evan turns into a future for Charley. She is able to find love again and Jameson has finally settled down.

I was a bit turned off my the phrases Charley used. It was a bit off with the fact she was only in her mid 30's. But overall this was a very cute short story.
