I was grateful for the chance to read the ARC of this story - and grateful that Holly Dodd re-sent it to my kindle no less than 4 times in order to make sure I got it :)
This story was pretty much how I expected it to go - after reading the first two books - In the second book, we saw Mia and Regi enter the party to find Mia's sister drugged and stumbled onto Angela who had been drugged as well -
That's where this story starts off - the night of the party
Jackson is a jock - both football and baseball star, but he's also in school studying to be a Law Enforcer - and with it are side jobs - such as self-defense classes.
About a week after the party - Jo had talked Angela into trying out a self-defence class. just to try to get some self-confidence back into her.
And that's where she saw Jackson. She recognized his eyes from "that night" but couldn't' remember enough about that night to know why she recognized his eyes....
But Jackson knew....
The story is a sweet struggle - they're both trying to move on, change their ways about how they use to act and try to live a normal life.But they both have a draw to each other that they can't seem to figure out -
The change in Angela is tremendous! I have a lot of respect for her in this story :) Really a cute story and an awesome Series :)
