Hot Ticket by Olivia Cunning - Release Day

Hot Ticket (Sinners on Tour, #3)

Hot Ticket by Olivia Cunning
Book #3 in the Sinners on Tour series

There are things in bassist Jace Seymour’s past that he is unwilling to share with anyone. To cover his guilt and anguish, he seeks dominatrix Mistress V (Aggie) to temporarily placate his inner turmoil.

Aggie doesn’t have much use for men–besides the power rush she gets when they’re begging for mercy at her feet–but Jace isn’t like her usual clients. His cool defiance and unexpected dominance in the bedroom drives her to distraction and quickly steals her heart.

When circumstances threaten Jace’s position in Sinners, Aggie must help him regain his rightful place in the band while showing him that time and love can heal all wounds.

Jen's Review -
Totally HOT!!!! Loved this book! I think it was my favorite of all the Sinner's stories.. no wait... well, I don't know! I loved them all! This one was really different that the first two books, but I totally loved it!

Jace - I had a special place for him in my heart when reading Sed's story - I loved how quiet and reserved he was. I knew there was something deep down inside with his story - and I  wasn't disappointed

Jace had a troubled past - everyone he ever loved stopped loving him, and died!
He never said goodbye to them before they died, and he felt extremely responsible  for their deaths as well.
So what does that mean for Jace? Jace doesn't deserve love, he doesn't deserve happiness, and he DEFIANTLY doesn't deserve pleasure.
The only thing that keeps Jace focused is pain - and the pain is the only way he can normal. He knows he's a freak and none of the guys would understand. He keeps to himself because he knows the rest of the band only have him there because he can play. he never really fit in with the group, but as long as he could play, he would put up with anything anyone dished out to him.

I loved the way the book was told. it started off when Jace met Angie. We saw this take place in Sed's story when the guys went to a strip club to celebrate Brian's engagement. Sed saw Jessica stripping and flipped out. but we also saw Jace take to the Domme that was dancing on the stage away from where Jessica was dancing.

Ahh yes, now it's all coming back - and I TOTALLY Loved how everything that took place , took place again in jace's POV - it wasn't like re-reading everyone elses story, but you remembered everything that was happening! It was so cool to go through Trey getting his head bashed in at the strip club, then Sed and Jessica getting back together. When Sed's throat blew out and Sed was out of commission for awhile -
All this happened again, but it wasn't the foucus of the book - the events and time was crucial because if Sed's and Brian's stories, you saw Jace there, but he kept ducking out.
And now we know why!!!

Angie was a Domme - she was trained by a profession and she LOVED her job! She loved to dance, too. which is how she was able to give Jace her card so he could meet up at her house where she would give him the release that he needed. Not THAT kind of release, Jace needed the pain. And Mistress V was the one that specialized in Corporate Punishment and knew exactly what he needed.

only problem was Jace didn't want to submit. he wasn't a sub in any way, he just wanted to the pain.
Angie came into his life and knew exactly what he needed, even the parts he didn't like and didn't know he needed. She had a great way of helping him learn to open up a little bit, and enjoy the pleasures of life that went with the pain that he craved.

We also get to see more of Eric in this book - See Jace owes Eric a lot - even though he'd never tell him why, that's why Jace puts up with Eric's crap and is always letting Eric be a jerk to him.

OH and it gets really good when Jon comes back into the group! I wont say why or when but something happens and the need Jon to play with the band while Jace sits out.. why?? HA! You'll never guess, well maybe you will, but you wont hear about it from me :) But i will say that the tension between Jon and Jace puts a big strain on everything.

LOVE this story! And I so can' t wait for September with Eric gets his story!!!
