The Statistical Probablity of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

The Statistical Probability of Love at First SightThe Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?

Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. Having missed her flight, she's stuck at JFK airport and late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon-to-be stepmother Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's sitting in her row.

A long night on the plane passes in the blink of an eye, and Hadley and Oliver lose track of each other in the airport chaos upon arrival. Can fate intervene to bring them together once more?

Quirks of timing play out in this romantic and cinematic novel about family connections, second chances, and first loves. Set over a twenty-four-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

Juls Review
This was a very sweet story about a girl and a boy that meet totally by accident. The 4 minutes Hadley was late to make her flight to London changes her view of life.
Hadley and Oliver on the same flight to London one going to a wedding she doesn’t want to attend and the other going to see his father lay to rest.
Neither are happy but in the few hours they spend with each other something eases their pending doom.
Oliver is a sweet young man that sat while Hadley poured all her reasons why she shouldn’t have to be going to a wedding that she doesn’t approve of. This new woman in her father’s life has turned her life upside down. Her life will never be the same. But soon Hadley realizes that its not just about what life used to be but what it is now. And how happy her dad is and how what she felt about how her life was changing doesn’t even compare to how Oliver who has just lost his father. His father might have been a jackass but he was taken at such a young age and now this boy will be without a father.
The two bring each other peace and a new love blossoms between them.

Very cute and fast read.
