Captain by
"Captain is full of delicious chemistry, nonstop laughs, and HOT sexy times - the perfection combination to make an unforgettable romance!" A.L. Jackson, NYT & USA Bestselling Author
From, Lauren Rowe, the USA Today and International bestselling author of The Club Series and Ball Peen Hammer comes a sexy standalone romance: Captain.
It wasn’t the way this kind of story was supposed to go . . .
Insta-love isn’t supposed to turn into insta-hate.
But that’s exactly what happened when the hot-as-hell dreamboat I met in a bar turned out to be a lying, cheating scumbag-player-douche looking for nothing but a little side action. Jerk.
And he has the nerve to call me a liar and a “sociopath”? Assh*le.
And now, three months later, through a mind-blowing series of events I couldn’t have predicted in a million years, it turns out my boss is marrying his sister in Hawaii and I’ve got to play nice with him for an entire freaking week.
Okay, sure, I’ll put on a happy face this week and act like I’ve never even met the jerk before--did I mention his sister is marrying my boss?--but that doesn’t mean I’ll like it. And it certainly doesn’t mean I’ll stop secretly hating the cocky bastard’s guts.
Because I do.
I hate him.
I really do.
I just wish my brain would explain the situation to my body . . . because every time he flashes that panty-melting smile at me, it takes all my self-restraint not to jump the bastard’s hot-as-f*ck bones.
*For fans of Ball Peen Hammer and The Club Series, please note Captain features Ryan Morgan and takes place one year before the events of Ball Peen Hammer. It also includes characters from both Ball Peen Hammer and The Club Series, though Captain is a complete standalone with no prior reading is required.

Jen's Review 4+ Stars
Well it's obvious It's not the first book in this series - but that doesn't matter because I've already fallen in love with every single character mentioned in this book! And I'm going to be binge reading every single one of them :)
Love at First sight? Fate? Destiny? This is the reason I read so many romance books - the hope and dream that it could happen to anyone at any time without warning -
Ryan - aka - Captain - aka Rum cake - aka anything that goes along with the Rum series - is an honest and truly good guy - he wants to find love, and have lots of babies - and when he realizes Olivia isn't the one, he gladly hands over the $50 he owed his brother and vows to move on from the "bunny boiler" .
In this book, Ryan's younger sister Kat is marrying Josh (from one of the other books in this series) So Ryan plans on meeting Josh for a drink and to welcome him into the family, as well as warn him about breaking his sister's heart -
but while Ryan is waiting, 2 flight attendants walk into the bar and Ryan can't take his eyes off one of them. He knew instantly what this meeting was, and he needed to talk to her.
Samantha the Raunchy Flight attendant wasn't what Tessa had in mind, but with her crazy fun-loving BFF, she really didn't get the choice.
Samantha and Ryan hit it off right away - their back and forth banter is fun and friendly and easy for the both of them.
But when Ryan's ex shows up screeching at him and calling Samantha names, Tessa decided she didn't want this kind of cheating, good for nothing jerk in her life. No matter how strong their connection was.
Ryan went bat-shit crazy when he couldn't find Samantha after she ran out - no last name, n o phone number, no way to find her again!
What's a guy to do?? lol
This is the part where you run into the past couples from other stories - but even though they don't go into details about who they are and their story, you know instantly there's one there.
Sooo I'm going to head out and check out Lauren Rowe's Amazon page and see what she has for this crazy, fun loving family - I want to read about Josh and Kat, but at the end of this book it says Keane has his story - so I kind of want to jump into that one - he's got to be the most hilarious guy! I love him :)
