I'm a sucker for a hot retired Hockey Player with a little baby - I'm mean, come on!!
Such a cute story - Neither Carter or Layla believed in Happily ever after - and why should they? 
Layla's life growing up was filled with religious beliefs and stern parents. She had a secret that crashed everything - 7 years later, she's finally living her life and she's happy and alone - and yes, lonely, but what other choice does she have? 

Carter's career was cut short, his parents were in love, until their lives were cut short - 
But it took that one chance when he saved Layla's life and he knew his beliefs were about to change. 

This story was cute - had a different twist but making you fall in love with Carter that much more :)
