The Stranger by Kyra Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Kasie knows who she’s supposed to be. But one passionate night with a mysterious stranger will teach her who she wants to be.
You should sleep with a stranger,
her best friend whispers in her ear as they take to Vegas for one last
pre-wedding fling. Despite her best intentions, when Kasie Fitzgerald
enters the casino and sees him, a man whose tailored clothes
belied a powerful, even dangerous, presence, she loses herself to the
moment. Maybe it’s the dress, much shorter than she’d ever normally
wear, or the Scotch, but something makes her give herself over to him
more completely than she's ever done with a man before.
It was supposed to be just one night. But right as she’s thinking she wants more, he
shows up in her office with an agenda. As the billionaire CEO of a
company that’s engaged her PR firm, his demands just became her
reality...and he desires so much more than just some attention in the
boardroom.
Juls Review
There was one other book that had cheating in it that really didnt matter to me. Now dont get me wrong, I dont think its right. I honestly dont really like to read about it. But in this book, it almost seemed necessary. Not that anyone deserved it but its like the main character needed to do this to find herself.
Kasie lives a very staid life. Every thing about her is predictable and normal. No hair is ever out of place. A weekend away turns her life upside down. One man, a stranger, changes everything. Her life isnt black and white anymore. It screams for more.
Back to reality, Kasie now faces the one man who she thought was only going to be seem in her dreams. He waltz into her life and brings back the chaos that is still bottled up inside her. Secrets and betrayal now cloud her mind and nothing will shake her from this haze.
But like a drug, the fix only lasts so long. Will she stay with whats comfortable or will she spread her wings and lose everything? I cant wait to find out!!!
