On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

On Dublin StreetOn Dublin Street by Samantha Young
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Four years ago, Jocelyn Butler left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Edinburgh. Burying the grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without any real attachments has worked well for her so far but when Joss moves into a fantastic apartment on Dublin Street, her carefully guarded world is shaken to its core by her new roommate's sexy older brother.

Braden Carmichael is a man who always gets what he wants. And what he wants is Jocelyn in his bed. Knowing how skittish Joss is concerning any kind of relationship, Braden proposes a sexual arrangement that should satisfy the intense attraction between them without it developing into anything 'more'. An intrigued Jocelyn agrees, completely unprepared for the Scotsman and his single-minded determination to strip the stubborn young woman bare... to the very soul.

Contains strong adult content. For readers ages 18+

Juls Review
Okay, I have to get this off my chest before I move forward with this review. WHY the HELL did it take so goddamn long for the book to get going???? Cuz dammit! the book was so flipping AHHHH-MA-ZIN!!!!!!!!

After the loss of her family at a young age, Jocelyn starts life over again in Edinburgh. She has vowed to never let anyone come close to her. She may have a small amount of friends but they know nothing of her and her past and vice versa. She doesn’t want to know about them.

But a man she met while hailing a cab has changed it all. Braden is the one man that Joss didn’t think she’d meet ever again. Fate has other plans. Her new roomy Ellie, who has become a close friend, is related to said man.

Braden and Jocelyn sway to a dance only she wants to step on his feet. Their attraction for each other prompts an idea in Braden. He wants her to be his fuck buddy/friends with benefits. It doesn’t take long for Jocelyn to agree to his terms which aren’t that bad. Fucking whenever they want and go to the occasional business dinner. Not a bad deal, right? Except those escapades turn into more. More longing looks, more tender moments.

One of the sexiest scenes was when Braden looked down at Jocelyn and touched her stomach and then moved his hand from her quivering belly to the valley between her breasts. Guh *shutters* That shit right there is where its at! Girls, I’m telling you what, a big member is one thing and a tongue that has gymnastic skillz is a major plus but when a man can touch your non erogenous zones and still make you cream…….nuff said!!!
Their sexual encounters are raw and brutal and leaves you so sated.

Something happens that shakes everyone’s outlook on life and Jocelyn backs away knowing she should have never agreed to have people get close to her again but Braden isn’t giving up. He’s searched for the one woman that gets him and Jocelyn is his equal match. He’s not letting her go without a fight. It might have started out with them being fuck buddies but they both found so much more.
