The Prince by Tiffany Reisz

The Prince (The Original Sinners, #3)The Prince by Tiffany Reisz
Book 3 of the Orgional Sinners Series
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...preferably in bed. That's always been Kingsley Edge's strategy with his associate, the notorious New York dominatrix Nora Sutherlin. But with Nora away in Kentucky, now it's Kingsley's chance to take her place at the feet of the only man he's ever wanted -- Søren, Nora's on-again, off-again lover -- until a new threat from an old enemy forces him to confront his past.

Wes Railey is still the object of Nora's tamest yet most maddening fantasies, and the one man she can't forget. He's young. He's wonderful. He's also thoroughbred royalty and she's in "his" world now. But Nora is no simpering Southern belle, and her dream of fitting into Wesley's world is perpetually at odds with her dear Søren's relentlessly seductive pull.

Two worlds of wealth and passion call to her and whichever one Nora chooses, it will be the hardest decision she will ever have to make... unless someone makes it for her...

Jen's Review

Well if you liked the first 2 books, this book didn't disappoint. I'm still not able to say I get the relationship ANYONE has with Soren... But after reading more and more about him in each book, it becomes more and more obvious that he's just trying to be who he is. And you can't help but see that even though he's a Sadist, he's trying to make those he cares about happy as well.
It's in there.. it really is :) Even after beating the crap out of Nora in the past few books, and this book, with Kingsley! WOW
This book is told in 3 different parts. Almost feels like you're reading 3 different stories, but they all involve the same characters :)
SPOILER for the last 2 books below - don't keep reading if you want to keep the surprise
Last book ended with Nora going back to Wesley. Oh because Wes is SO MUCH better for Nora - or is he?? Will Nora and Wes stay together this time? Or will she go back to Soren?? THAT'S the million dollar question.
I was happy to see things with Wes and Nora. They weren't perfect together, but they had fun. And Nora is seeing that there could be more to life.
Then there is the past - we see When Kingsley meets Soren at their Catholic school for boys.  We saw how Kingsley felt for Soren from the first time he heard him playing the piano.
Soren felt something for Kingsley. But being Soren, he knew he couldn't get close to him, no matter what. But Kingley made it impossible for Soren to ignore him.
Then there is the present - Last book, someone had stolen Nora's file out of Kingsley's home. With Nora in Kentucky with Wes, Soren and Kingsley visit their past school and try to figure out who had sent Kingsley the picture of him and Soren.
Visiting the school brought up a lot of questions, and past feelings for each other.
Then we go back to Kentucky and see Wes and Nora again - She is falling in love with Horses, and meets up with a Sub she played with.
I want to say I hate this series - but I just can't! I don't understand what it is! I hate the relationships, I can't even begin to understand any of it, and I can't stand reading about the beatings! Especially from Soren - but there is something in this series that just keeps grabbing me and pulling me into this world! I have no desires for it, and yet, it's strangely arousing!
What is it with this series??? Seriously??

Juls's Review
Juls Review  *****5 heart stopping stars!!*****

OMG!!!! What an AMAZING BOOK!!!! I don’t think I can even put into words how AWESOME this was. Its just, WOW!!! I’m more in love with ALL of the characters now more than ever. I cannot wait until The Mistress comes out. I NEED to know what’s happening to EVERYONE, especially Nora!!!!

WHEW! Okay, so for my review I’m going to set it up like the book, in three parts.

North-the past
This was probably the most beautifully written portion of the entire series to date.
The explanation of the relationship between Soren and Kingsley were vital. How and why they are and who they are now was shown in the earlier days of their lives. And the way they FINALLY came together was so powerful, so potent I literally swooned!

We are shown the vulnerable sides of both men. Soren may seem more than a man but he is just that, a man and he hurts and loves fiercely and with passion. And Kingsley may have the persona of a hard core Dom but deep down, he wants the love and devotion of the one person he’d only had  for a short amount of time.

South-the present
Nora has him back. Wesley, her Wesley. He was all things good and comforting. She wants to absorb all that is Wesley. She’s missed him so much. He made her long for things, normal things that weren’t ever in her vocabulary.

I was surprised to see Nora so shy and somewhat timid around Wesley. Him being not so kinky made her a bit flustered and awkward. But a year and a half apart couldn’t fizzle the attraction they both have for each other. And Wesley has been waiting his whole life for her, for Nora to be with him in every way and man and a woman could be. Can he fulfill her desires like Soren can? Can meet her demanding body?

North-the present
Someone is out to destroy them all. But why? No one is stupid enough to mess with Soren, Kingsley and Nora. Those three have powers that can make a grown man cry.
This person is so determined to tear down the invisible walls that the three have in place. Nothing or no one will get in way of the prize.

The North and the South will soon collide and a war of epic proportion is about to implode!
